Welly Boot Race – Friday 5 September 2014

All parents are welcome to come along and take part

We are delighted to be supporting this initiative along with all the schools in the Wallace High Learning Community.  We are trying to break the record for the number of people participating in a Welly Boot Race.  At the same time, we will be raising money for Kidney Kids and our school.  One of our Riverside pupils, is directly supported by the Kidney Kids charity.

On Friday 5 September we ask all children to wear wellies with their school uniform along with a waterproof jacket.  All children will require a packed lunch.  If you wish to order a school packed lunch for that date, please order via the school office by Tuesday 2 September.

P1 – 3 and the  Autism Provision will be taken to Wallace High School by coach and P4 – 7 will walk.  We will leave Riverside at 11 am and return by 2.15 pm (approx.).

We look forward to a fun, fund-raising day.

Welcome to Riverside Primary School

Riverside Primary School is a welcoming and inclusive school where children are respected as individuals and encouraged to participate in the life of the school.  We celebrate and reward opportunities to succeed in every area of the curriculum.  At Riverside we value all members of our community, the children and the staff who strive to offer our children opportunities to reach their potential.  We continue to build strong partnerships with our parents and carers who support the work of the school.  Riverside Primary offers a curriculum, based on the four capacities linked to the curriculum for excellence and it is our aim that we will succeed in making your child: a successful learner; confident individual; responsible citizen and an effective contributor.  We are very proud of all our children and strive to provide excellent opportunities for them to succeed in school, in the wider community and in their future life.  We hope you enjoy looking at our website and finding out about some of our learning in Riverside.
